What is an AI agent builder?

A tool for making your own AI agents: assistants that answer questions and can also do tasks. You give the agent instructions, knowledge and tools, and it decides which to use for each request.

  • A no-code builder does this with forms and plain words, not programming.
  • Developer frameworks give more control but need engineers to build, host and maintain the agent.

What can you build with it?

Agents that answer from your documents and agents that work in your apps. There are 20 templates to start from, and you can change every word.

  • For customers: Customer Support Agent, Ecommerce Assistant, FAQ Assistant, Lead Qualification Agent.
  • For your team: Company Knowledge Assistant, HR Assistant, Employee Onboarding Agent, IT Helpdesk Agent, Sales Assistant.
  • Or start blank and describe the job in a sentence.

What does an agent need?

Three things: instructions, knowledge and, if it should act, tools. Instructions say how it speaks and what it must not do; knowledge is what it answers from; tools are the apps it may use.

  • Knowledge: files, web pages and, on Pro and Business, Google Drive folders.
  • Tools, on Pro and Business: hundreds of apps through Composio (Gmail, HubSpot, Jira, Notion and more), any MCP server or a REST API.

Where can people use the agents you make?

Wherever they already are. Share an agent with your team, send a share link, add it to your website with one snippet, or call it from your own app.

  • On Pro and Business, an agent's knowledge can also be used inside Claude and ChatGPT through a private link.

Is there a free AI agent maker?

Yes. The Free plan includes one agent and 30 conversations a month. Starter is $12 a month for two agents, Pro $39 for five with apps, and Business $99 for fifteen.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI agent builder?

A tool for making AI assistants that answer questions and take actions. You give the agent instructions, knowledge and tools; it decides which to use for each request.

What's the difference between a chatbot and an AI agent?

A chatbot answers questions. An agent can also act: search an inbox, update a CRM record or post a message, using the apps you connect.

How is this different from Zapier?

Zapier runs fixed workflows that start on a trigger. An agent works out the steps each time from what you ask, which suits varied, one-off tasks. It doesn't run on a schedule by itself. Many teams use both.

Which AI model does it use?

We choose and run the model for you, so there's nothing to set up. On Business, an agent can switch to Precise answers, a more careful mode for complex questions.
